Employee Spotlight: Ryan Jorde

This month, we’re proud to spotlight Ryan Jorde, who recently joined Giving Home as Vice President of National Sales. With two decades of experience in the healthcare industry, he brings the insight, strategic mindset, and enthusiasm needed to help guide our next phase of growth.

Ryan didn’t originally set out to work in healthcare, but after college he found himself drawn to roles where he could meet and connect with people. Over the past 20 years, he has built deep industry experience, including working with Lew Little, Benjamin Hanson, and Stefanie Cavanaugh as far back as 2012, and later serving as Regional Vice President of Sales at BrightSpring Health Services. When the opportunity arose to reunite with familiar faces and take on a new challenge at Giving Home, he knew it was the right move.

Since stepping into his role as Vice President of National Sales two months ago, Ryan has been dedicating most of his time to learning the business from the ground up. He travels frequently to different markets, meeting with outreach coordinators, community liaisons, and other team members to understand their roles. Ryan also spends time exploring new opportunities for growth and outreach. Unlike traditional healthcare sales — where the referral sources and sales process are relatively straightforward — finding White Card holders often requires creative, market-specific strategies. What works in Las Vegas may look entirely different from Kentucky or Amarillo, and he’s energized by the challenge of designing approaches tailored to each community.

Joining Giving Home has also offered Ryan something new: the chance to work with EEOICPA and RECA patients. This shift from traditional healthcare has brought a fresh perspective, opened the door to new strategies, and created opportunities to witness firsthand the difference Giving Home makes in patients’ lives. He recalls attending an intake appointment in Tennessee as the Outreach Coordinator walked a patient through his work history and identified the exposures he’d faced. The look on the patient’s wife’s face was unforgettable; she hadn’t fully grasped the risks her husband had faced. “It was powerful to see what these people put themselves through for the good of the country and learn what we can do to help these folks,” shared Ryan, “because they are heroes.”

The thing that has impressed him the most about Giving Home’s culture so far? A true sense of teamwork and collaboration. In his words, “It feels like everybody’s running in the same direction,” not only for patients but for one another. When it comes to his own team members, Ryan admires their deep sense of passion and ownership, driven by a genuine commitment to helping people.

Outside of work, Ryan enjoys life with his wife of 18 years, Brooke, and their two daughters: a 17-year-old senior and a 15-year-old freshman. Much of his time is spent supporting the girls in their activities and interests, and he loves watching them grow through each stage. In his downtime, he also enjoys traveling and playing golf.

Looking ahead, Ryan is optimistic and excited about what’s next for Giving Home. He knows 2026 might look vastly different from 2025, but has tremendous confidence in the resource office, the leadership, and the local teams and caretakers. Whatever challenges arise, he’s certain this team has the talent, adaptability, and H.E.A.R.T. to meet them head-on.

Thank you, Ryan, for all you do. We’re proud you’re part of the Giving Home family!
