Employee Spotlight: Kaitlyn Stanfield

This month, we are excited to spotlight Kaitlyn Stanfield, Manager of Revenue Operations! Kaitlyn is based out of the Austin, Texas, office and has been with Giving for just over a year and a half. In that time, she has made invaluable improvements to the organization’s billing and accounting processes.

Kaitlyn originally began her career in revenue cycle management, overseeing teams at various oncology centers. In her role at Giving, she works closely with billing directors across all offices as well as with the back-end AR team, helping to streamline communication between both sides of the organization. Kaitlyn’s responsibilities also include helping to reconcile revenue and monitor accounts receivable. As a self-proclaimed “rule-follower,” she has been instrumental in enhancing billing processes, establishing clear guidelines and procedures, and teaching others.

Kaitlyn is a natural born leader with a passion for supporting those around her. Her favorite part about her job is working with individuals across the country to help train, educate, and make sure all team members are on the same page. In the same vein, Kaitlyn credits her colleagues at Giving for motivating her to come to work every day. Thanks to them, she never experiences the “Sunday Scaries” — and instead looks forward to seeing and collaborating with her team each week.

When asked about a memorable experience, Kaitlyn recalled her first travel trip to Amarillo, where she met Sam Sanderson. Though Kaitlyn was feeling lost and overwhelmed, Sam walked her through everything, and immediately made Kaitlyn feel comfortable with her warm and patient demeanor. This moment made a long-lasting impact and assured her she was in good hands.

In her time with Giving, Kaitlyn has grown in numerous ways, but primarily in both communication and leadership skills. She attributes this growth to her boss and mentor, Stephanie Troyer, who focuses on pouring into everyone on her team. Kaitlyn describes Giving’s overall company culture as “people-focused,” noting that leadership focused on supporting employees; it’s also “patient-focused,” and constantly looking to do better by those we serve.

Outside of work, you can find Kaitlyn reading, attending concerts (especially if Noah Kahan or Taylor Swift is performing), or trying her hand at new hobbies. She is also the proud owner of two dogs — Finn and her new rescue, Tilly — and is channeling her same love of teaching into their obedience training.

Thank you, Kaitlyn, for all that you do here at Giving!
