New Mexico

As a leading national provider of care for former and current energy workers, with access to a robust network of resources, our regional teams at Giving Home are equipped to provide compassionate, personalized care. Our local teams and offices in New Mexico have a deep understanding of local history and culture and are actively involved in community service and volunteering. Many of the patients we serve in New Mexico have worked at national labs and/or uranium mines, such as Los Alamos National Labs and Sandia National Labs.

BIG NEWS FOR NEW MEXICO RESIDENTS: If you worked in uranium mining, milling, core drilling, or ore transportation between 1971 and 1990, you were previously excluded from receiving benefits under the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA). But effective July 3, 2025, you may finally qualify for up to $100,000 in compensation PLUS medical benefits for qualifying conditions. Contact your local office today to get started.

Our Approach to Care

At Giving Home, we act as both a health care coordinator and chronic care manager, dedicated to serving individuals with conditions contracted while working in nuclear energy programs. We understand how quickly these conditions can change, which is why we are committed to providing compassionate care in the comfort of the home.
