Why In-home Health Care?

We understand that over time, your needs may change. We make it simple for you to receive compassionate care services in the comfort of your own home. Giving Home has one of the highest success rates across the industry for achieving program qualification. We are 100% dedicated to your satisfaction in the coordination and execution of your in-home care plan.

What is EEOICPA/RECA?

The Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA) was created to protect the interests of former or current energy workers who were injured or became ill on the job. The Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA) provides payments to individuals who contracted certain cancers or other illnesses as a result of radiation and other toxic exposures.

How do I know if I qualify for benefits?

At Giving Home, we take the time to help you understand your eligibility for benefits through EEOICPA or RECA. We can assist patients who already possess a White Card, as well as those who are looking to determine if they qualify for a White Card.

What do I do if my claim is denied?

Contact the Giving Home team today so that we can help you try to reverse the denial.

How long does it take to file a claim for a White Card?

The claim filing process for EEOICPA and RECA is grueling. There are several factors that can affect the Department of Labor’s ability to verify your claim. Generally, the claims process can take up to six months or more from the time the claim is submitted to when it is approved.

Can I move from another company to Giving Home for assistance?

Yes, we welcome patient transfers and offer FREE case reviews for those considering a transfer. During a case review, we will look at your compensation and care history and identify how you might potentially be better served. As a next step, a case manager will transfer your care and provide you with an updated in-home health care plan with Giving Home.

Do I pay a fee to Giving Home for their assistance?

No, you will never have to pay anything to Giving Home. We work directly with the Department of Labor for any compensation for our services. Our services are no cost for patients.

Will Giving Home help me file a claim?

Contact the Giving Home team today for help identifying an Authorized Representative who can help you.
